To carry out an effective Consumer Videos campaign and achieve optimal results, we invite you to consult (and implement) these best practices.
Tip:
We also advise you to establish a routine for regularly reviewing and moderating your content. This will make you more effective in using the platform.
We accompany you throughout the creation of your video campaign.
Here are the different steps to follow:
1. Preparing your campaign
Co-building the recruitment platform
Recruitment is the first step in the video creation process. We recommend:
- Customizing the platform in line with your identity.
- Encouraging your community to sign up for your video campaign using engaging content. For example: Sign up for our campaign in just a few minutes.
Co-building the product selection platform & video submission
You can guide ambassadors in creating their video through a simple and precise brief.
Do not provide too much advice and detail to ambassadors to obtain authentic videos.
Defining the recruitment plan
It is very important to identify your target in order to adopt the best dissemination strategy.
We recommend choosing multiple channels to reach the most individuals. For your information, the Dedicated Newsletter is the channel with the highest conversion rate.
We also invite you to create tracked URLs to be able to identify the origin of the received applications.
2. Taking control of your back office
Integrating your product catalog and creating your product sheets
To be able to respond to ambassador requests, we recommend keeping an up-to-date product catalog.
It is therefore important:
- To properly update the status of the order once it has been shipped.
- To archive products that are no longer available. We recommend being very careful when archiving a product so as not to delete orders associated with it.
- Properly fill in the data related to your products & describe them as best as possible to help the consumer identify key points.
3. Managing your campaign
Moderating applications
Once the campaign is launched, use filters to process only complete applications.
For this, from the Applications tab:
- Select the filters "Complete Applications" and "To be moderated".
- Approve or reject applications.
- If in doubt, you can classify them as "Maybe", pending a decision. This allows you to discuss them with your teams and ask for their opinion via internal notes. We recommend not leaving this status for too long: ambassadors do not receive automatic emails with this status and are waiting for your response.
We invite you to regularly review your applications to maintain a good dynamic.

Order management
If you change the status of the order, for example, to "shipped", you cannot cancel your action and go back. You must then proceed directly to the next step.
Video validation
Once the application is accepted, you will receive the video made by your ambassador, directly to your Skeepers account.
To avoid numerous time-consuming back-and-forths, we remind you that it is preferable to provide your feedback all at once on your videos: remember to centralize all your modification requests so that they are processed and taken into account.
Therefore, feel free to collect feedback from your colleagues before sending it to us.
We will then apply the requested modifications⭐
Additionally, to maintain the authenticity of the video transmitted by your ambassador, here are our recommendations:
- Do not ask to cut constructive feedback.
- Be concise and precise in your feedback, for example: "Cut from 0"31 to 0"39".
- Preserve as much as possible the ambassador's statements.
- Do not provide a complete script that would guide their words.
4. Distributing ambassador videos
Distributing your videos via the Skeepers player
If you choose not to distribute your videos via the Skeepers player, then no data will be available.
Player customization applies to all videos. You cannot customize each of your ambassador videos differently.
5. Measuring your performance
Communication results
You can study the results of your communication directly in the back office. We recommend consulting the results 15 days after the launch of your communication action (to give candidates time to finalize their registration).
You will be able to consult various important information: number of visits, abandonment rate; origin of applications, etc.
Global data
Additionally, to follow & analyze your performance, and optimize your strategy, conduct a strategic assessment at the end of each month in the Data tab. For this, apply the following criteria within your back office:
- Period: multiple months
- Frequency: monthly
